Welcome to our new website.

It's been more than ten years since the GWOA first had a web presence and in that time the website has grown from its early days of only having a small handful of users to one of the largest English speaking websites for G-Wagen owners in the world. Unfortunately with growth comes problems and we recently had our website hacked, perhaps by jealous Land Rover owners... and unfortunately were forced to take it down without notice.

However all is not lost, for we have been hard at work not only rebuilding it, but improving it as well. We know that for many of our users the website has become something of a social hub and the new website is much more socially focused with advanced user profiles as well as a host of additional features.

• We know that you are proud of your Gs, so we've created a section called Member's Gs where you can upload specs and pictures of your pride and joy.*
• Have you done a interesting trip, or perhaps have written a technical article? Now you can upload your story for the rest of us to read.*
• Want to share your personal journey of your quest to make your G the ultimate toy? You can keep a journal with Personal Blogs which are accessible from your profile.*
• A dedicated Classified Ads section that is free for GWOA members.
• The ability to directly embed YouTube Videos.
•  Private Messages enable you to  send a private message to any registered user.
• A host of other tweaks and features which I am sure you will discover as you use the website.
• An events Calendar so you know when the next G meets are happening.

Of course we've kept the core features that you all love such as:

• Photo Galleries of member events and trips.
•      Forum for all your G related discussions.
•      An archive of the club's magazine G-Wizz*

But that's not all! We're still working on implementing a host of other features including

• An online shop selling GWOA merchandise*
• A technical library containing maintenance manuals, catalogues and other G publications*

We are still trying to make use of the full capabilities of the new website, so it is possible that you may find a few quirks from time to time. If you do, we ask that you please notify us so we can look into it.
