A company named Europa in Santa Fe, NM was the official importer for G-wagen since the early'90's until Mercedes-Benz offered the 2002 MBUSA G-500.
Those vehicles were not gray market imports legally I do believe, but always treated that way by the MB dealers/ MBUSA here.
