The picture here is of a 463 model G' yours is a 460 ..the bullbars are very different on the 460 with shallow uprights..I have one for a 460 (all Black) located in Dungannon N Ireland ...is your G' the one of Carzone with Veeery low mileage and a recent Black paint job ???
Hi fixwin38, tnx for response. Could you send a pic of the brush bar? I would be interested. I do like the look of the 463 model guard but if the uprights are too deep & don't sit flush with the grill then I guess it won't work. Btw I also intend to replace the front grill to the one with the chrome horizontal bars and embedded merc badge. Do u know if this is easily doable?
I bought the gwagen thru carzone from a guy in mayo. It had a recent spray job but not a very good one, just a blow over. No treatment of rust underneath afaik
thats the problem in our area! my cousin is a tour manager for a band and they drove from inverness to newquay to here in 3 days last week and in the last few miles on the m40 a bloke pulled out on them as they were in the fast lane, the driver jammed on and they span across the whole motorway (they have one of those big as you can get sprinters) but just missed him and he kept driving on! luckily there was no major injuries just a lead singer with a bloody nose!

joe those wear marks seem to be positioned at the same height as the rear of a fellow road users vehicle, have we been impatiently nudging?

Well, Almost - I did manage to frighten some one earlier today. I was * ahem* testing the speedo (just wanted to see what number I could get the orange needle thingy to..) and SHE pulled out - I can say that the breaks work on my G very well! And I am sure I was that close I may have 'nudged' her.
I have found that the slightest chip and if you pressure wash your G (which I do) the paint will flake off! Apologies - not sure how to resize them (or get them into focus!)
