Re: mouldy bodywork

steam cleaner nice and hot and a good trafic film remover, and depending on how oxidized the paint is a plasic type sponge or if really bad an old green scrubbing pad and then a good t-cut after....

Re: mouldy bodywork

Yeah, I get this green slime on my G, which happens to be white too, though my truck lives outdoors all the time with trees around. Washing and shampoo appear to take it off, but it eventually comes back once the cold damp weather returns. I guess there must be micro-spoors lurking in the paint's surface layer or something. I suspect the above suggestion of a good steam clean followed up with a quality wax polish is sound, though I haven't tried it myself, yet. I did a small test area with well diluted bleach (couple of splashes of Domestos in a bucket) followed by a rinse with a hose and it seems to be holding it at bay, but can't be positive until more time has elapsed.
Is it just the white paint or are other members experiencing this on different colours. My previous G was Moss Green anyway, so I wouldn't have noticed particularly....

Cilit Bang? Hmmm, that always sounds as if it ought to be some kind of medicinal compound for those of a female persuasion..... :(
