Re: windscreen

Can't imagine they'd be expensive. Just a flat piece of glass after all.

Re: windscreen

Thanks, will call them if required but I have found a second hand one. How easy are they to get out without breaking them?

Re: windscreen

It's localish but I don't want to pay £30 then break it when I take it out. All a bit annoying as the bodyshop broke my current one while repairing rust around it. I guess that was always going to be a risk but they didn't make me aware of it at the start. I'll speak to clearview. Thanks.

Re: windscreen

Hmm..
My 460 has a couple of large stone chips in it and I was going to eventually claim on the insurance for replacement glass. But the excess is £70 already, still at least I guess it would be fitted by professionals.

Re: windscreen

You say that, but the 'pro's' that eventually did mine left it in a right mess. That said, even if you can source a new one for £60 like Cozz did I'd still claim and pay the extra £10 to have it fitted. You're insurance will probably want to repair it before they replace it though.
