Bonnett stay

My bonnett presurised gas strut has died.
EPC gives 2 P/Ns;
A0009808164 48Euros
A0019807064 unlisted

Anyone know an alternative supplier. It is made by Stabilus, the same as the steering damper.

The above is for the 463. What is the little strut I have seen which holds the bonnett open at 90 *? That would be better to get in the engine bay.

Hi Roly... on the 460 you can lay the bonnet back against the windscreen which gives you lots of access...I think you can do the same with the 463 if you disconnect the stay at the lower end..as for the stay I got one on a visit to the local merc breaker... think it was of a W124 rgds
