Sump oil seal
Hi guys
Due to a lousy main dealerstealer, I'm having problems sourcing the crankshaft oil seal on the rear of the sump. Apparently it doesnt exist, even though its on the sump off the g wagen engine (and the sump of the donor 280ce engine, too).
Can anyone help?
Thanks
PS have i heard something before about the availability of the EPC to non-trade persons like myself?
Hi the last engine rebuild we did we quoted the engine model and Serial Number off the engine to our local MB dealer and 48 hours later had all the seals and gaskets..rgds

You can find the way of buying an EPC Compact for the GWagen directly from Mercedes here: http://www.gwoa.co.uk/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=364

You should seriously threaten those idiots with complaining to MBUK and MB Germany for their snobish behaviour. I don't know the VIN of your G, but you could make a printout of the attached and take them to the stealership so that they are caught red-handed in their stupidity...
I am glad to hear that!
A better main dealer than mine then
