Top Gear
Anyone seens Clarksons column in the latest top gear magazine (Jan 2007!)
some interesting comments on the GL!
as I wont be buying it ,what were they.
Clarkson takes a couple of swipes at the G on the way thru his article:
"not that long ago the only four wheel drive that they (mercedes) made was the G wagen, a rough and tumble sort of Bosch Landrover for the German army........."
"the thing is, I can sort of see why you might want a G Wagen. It is because you have to drive around London selling drugs and guns........."
Anybody need a Kalinshnikov?

ill try and scan it in, but its a black background, he does have a slight point with the g comments, in the same way you can say everyone who owns a rolls royce has a chauffeur!
he does make comments about the gl being very american orientated, ill get it on here asap
