Tanker drivers and the government
Wtf is the British public upto ! I've been past no end of petrol stations with people panic buying fuel,With queues obstructing traffic FFs ! I went past a texaco garage and diesel was £1.49 a ltr, 4 hrs later it was £1.59, and they had run out! What a bunch of twats, why do people listen to the media and the scare mungering, I'm ashamed to be in this country, thank god I'm off to Saudi on Saturday, where petrol is £0.09 a ltr. :o)
So to those that went out to fill there cars and jerry cans, get a life for heavens sake.
the british public have become a laughing stock !
The trouble is that those who 'don't panic' are the ones left with no fuel at all. So even smart people know this and have to join the scrum whether they like it or not.
As I heard someone say yesterday - the Government tried to orchestrate a 'controlled and orderly panic' to store fuel in car tanks and not the petrol stations, Its an oxymoron.
In the end, it WILL have had the effect that we will all be driving around with tanks which are over half full, rather than under half full, and this WILL have a major benefit for when the tanker driver DO strike.
So, its messy, but will be better for us all when that happens (i.e. it will take 6 days of stiking to run out, rather than 2).
They did that long ago
As long as Makro doesn't run out of cooking oil most of us will be ok.
nicley put christo !
ps, dont forget to pop in to chris's fish bar on monday morning, he always has a few barrels ready to go to recycle....hahaha!!
