How do you remove the Grill badge from a W460??

Do you need to take the grill off to unbolt it, or can it be unscrewed from the front??

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Adrian,

I will unscrew the grill and give it a go.

Hi

be careful with the bottom rubber mounts

if you only remove the screws from the top of the grill and reach your hand in you may be able to undo the star holding nut

if you are too heavy handed you will separate the metal from the rubber and will require new mounts ( or cable ties )

Thans Fixwin,

Looks like I can get my hand behind the grill without removing the bottom mounts, but the nut and bolt are both turning togethert, so it may not come off in one piece.

I've applied some WD40 and will try again tomorrow.

The end of the bolt / stud should have a flat screwdriver slot in it so that you can hold it, s stubby driver should be OK, however if it is spinning in the plastic star then it may just break out anyway
