Rare Event
Two G's on the same slipway. The White's mine and the Red's a turbo belonging to the wife's cousion, who i got my 460 from 4 years ago.
I can beat that, I was travelling in my silver 230 to Gatwick, approached a roundabout and another silver 230 pulls out in front, so there we are, 2 silver swb one behind the other, we came to another roundabout and what approaches ? Another swb silver g, and all 3 were travelling down the same road one behind the other, never knew who they were, about 12 years ago now. Wonder if it was anyone here.

Spooky all silver. G's are getting a bit common in Plymouth I know of 14 within 5 miles, rummors of others in Barns (I will find em!) Mind you 8 of them are owned by 2 of us!
I have to admit to having picked up a Land Rover mag! ...sorry chaps. I am amazed at the bits you can buy to bolt on for next to nothing. Then you realise you don't need any add ons to your 460. I have met a Deffender on the local pay and play that I thought was a match for my 460 ( in fact he winched me off a ridge I'd hung up on and then drove over it to rub it in). But to qualify that my 460 is stock and 1983, the Deffender was a newish 90, lifted, lockers, winch and many many extras, in fact his winch and bumper would have cost more that I've ever spent on the 460 including purchase. So thats OK then!
Other bit that irritates is the overhall kits you can buy for LR's with all the bits you need, none of that pouring over an exploded diagram looking for the illusive part at the merc stealers. eg £90 for a rear brake kit including shoes, cylinders springs etc, where as it costs that just for the liners and a hand full of rivets for the merc!
