my little G

well, been 5 days to be a happy G owner...

so far,

-fixed the leaking wipers

-surface rust cleanup and preservation floor panels

-mounted radio :-)

-replaced all the door window lower seals ( don't know if that is the correct name ) they where all corroded, and leaking

-fixed the electrical wiring driver door W463 mirror , working again, ( wires shot in the hinge )

- fixed the power windows, driver side ( same problem as above )

-new fluid reservoir cap , clutch & diff

-pin pointed the central lock problem, ordered a complete new set actuators and motors,

cleaned, greased all the locks, and make new water barrier foil in all doors

-replaced the left door outer handle ( mounting screws corroded , and the brass inserts spinning in the plastic )

-hang out to dry the front floor mats,

-tried to adjust the free play on the steeringbox... did not help,  ordered a refurbished one ( need to order a new filter and oil for the pump so i can flush it and change the filter )

-mounted new D pilor vent scoops with the foam barrier ( to prevend direct watter intake ) they where missing

-tough up paint all the stone chip places

to do, prio things first,

change steering box,

aline the front wheels , check front suspention, front bearings ect

fix leaking rear crank seal ? still have to check this , but 10 to 1 it's the rear crankseal

balance wheels,

change all fuilds and grease,

springs change/ determin problem  ( car is hanging a little to the left )

HID aftermarket H4 kit placement ( see if there is space )

clean up rusty spots and preserve these

change front window and seal , and check window frame for rust ( clean up / repair )

fix towing hook wiring

make led light interieur cargo aria

blind rear windows

make front bumper / bull bar

16" wheels and little bigger tyres ( narrower )

rear door replacement ? or fix

new left front side trim ( little crack )

seats intereur  upholstery , custom made / new covers ?

i have a new hobby :-)
