Measurement please
Can someone please measure the width of a 463 for me? I am busy bulding a turf roof garage, and would like to make the door as narrow as possible, and my car is still in the repair shop.

the book says 1690mm overall width for all model 463 up to 1994
It´s got to be about 1,740 mm with the mirrors folded down. The problem is: how do you get out of the G?
good comment mortinson ! maybe he wants the door a tight squeeze and the inside of the grage will be wider.

The garage is 10m x 5m underground, so plenty of space inside. I am going to make the doors 2m wide, that should clear the mirrors then.
sounds like a "Bunker" planning ahead for 2012?
Hi Christo, are you going to have your doors custom made. If not then I would have a look through the various catalogues of the garage door manufacturers and make the door opening the appropriate size for the style of door you want. It will save a lot of grief later on.
Have you booked your shooting holiday yet?
All the doors are custom made by the best (ex)joiner I know. The frame is finished now, roof on and sealed, floor in. Just nead to be clad the front, backfill the back and plant the grass on the roof.
No, haven't booked a shooting holiday. I used to be a profesional hunter, still do a bit, so I hate commertial shoots. I don't mind paying, but that is a story for the camp fire when you come shooting here.
