Hi,

I am looking for a G after getting fed up with LRs breaking down. I am looking in particular for a long-wheelbase diesel manual. Where can I read about the various engines and so on, please?

I have looked at a number, so am beginning to get a feel for them, but am a little bewildered by the many, many variants. One I have seen is a 290 diesel non-turbo. Anyone know what they are like, and any particular strengths and weaknesses. I can't find the power, torque, 0-60 and top speed data for that one even

Good choice in switching to a G. You will find many ex-Landies on the forum.

Be aware that if you are shopping around London you are most likely going to end up paying way to much for it - especially as diesel manuals are not the easiest to find. I ended up going to Cornwall to get mine.
