Have we got any Ausie members, we are thinking of doing a long tour over there, and it would be nice to know I've got a possible backup should things go wrong.

Still contemplating about taking the G or take something light and light on fuel, like a VW Tiguan.

Re: Aussie members

Hi,

We have AGOA members in most states of Australia (South Australia and Northern territory are the only exceptions) and I'm sure we could make you feel most welcome and help you out as much as we can. We have our own forum and I would suggest you sign-up and post your planned itinerary over there and we will try to offer you some advice/assistance.

Sound like fun.

Re: Aussie members

There's a few Aussie members here, but you'll find more on AGOA, which I see you've already found. Back up would only be a phone call away, but why bring the Tiguan? You can see a lot of Oz with a normal car, but if you really want to explore a proper 4x4 rather than a soft-roader would be the way to go. It all depends on what you want to see & how remote you want to go.
