Have seen this g wagon (G300) for 3k

The advert reads:
Restored g wagon with bumper damage on rear and engine knock 1995 model very clean.

Has anyone come into contact with this motor and have any idea what an engine knock on this age g wagon would be and cost to fix??

 I can tell you that it is certainly not a 1995 model 463.

The reg no. states it is a 1989 300GD which is the earlier 460 model although it appears to have been fitted with some 463 parts.  Not entirely sure what the knock could be on the diesel engine but it is probably the start of something terminal.

 My experience with G wagen is to spend the right money to buy a genuine car that has not been played with and as original as possible !!! This doesnt look like it at all from first sight .....
