Wanted - rear cargo door hinge for 460 (or even complete door if in good condition!)
Hi All,
I'm after a rear cargo door hinge for my '87 300D if anyone can help please, as my lower one has siezed and has caused hinge to break from door pillar. Or perhaps is it best to buy new, hopefully still available! The bottom of the crago door has also come to a rusty end, easiest to weld fix (made tricky by need to attach door seal so simple plate fix not ideal), or consider replacement if find suitable.

Are you sure that hinge isn't serviceable? Maybe you just need to weld a new fixing plate from the inside, though that would alter the alignment unless you cut out the old first.
Or if you still need the hinge, someone must have a breaking 460 with a good one.
Hi - hoping somebody somewhere is breaking a 460 with working hinge, hence request!!!
Hinge seizes and then causes bolts to rip away from frame (2x bolts, but requires reinforcing welding) - have repaired before and problem has recurred very quickly post servicing, hence after replacement hinge. Cheers

Rear door hinge wanted - local Merc parts no good but Mercedes Classic (Poole) can order for £90.80 ex. VAT (so £108!). Surely something cheaper somewhere or recycling..please!
