I think you lose the internal height adjuster with the Golf lights.

 

463 820 01 59 is the RHD clear headlight .

Easily confused by some dealers with 463 820 00 59, which is the LHD clear headlight.

Your digital display should be able to show in MPH

Usually VW - Golf MK1 headlight lens fit the W460/3. Assuming these will fit your vehicle try these out.

If you transfer the lens onto you original frame work; one is able to retain the headlight adjusters, I think, but I cannot remember if the adjuster pops into the lens socket or not. But if you do not have working headlight adjusters it should not matter.
