Got oil leaking from the rear axle tube on to my rear brakes on my 463. had this on my 460 and had to pull the shaft and fit a new bearing as the seal was part of it. Is it the same job on the 463?

    Cheers

Yes,I think, but you have abs sensor ring to remove. Not too expensive to buy removal tool or you could fabricate? I wouldn't dare chisel it off. Also maybe remains of a funny neoprene seal, which I think is too lubricate bearing on extreme slopes? Think you can do without it?some 463 have it,others don't

Hi Paul

Yes both same, at least for all Drum braked 463's anyway

Same Bearing and Seal kit as the T1 van A601 350 04 68 is the number for one side

£88.50 + vat at the moment

MBUK have just the one on the shelf if you need it quick

PM if you need help etc

MB Germany out of stock too at the moment, must be a supply / quality issue!!!

Just one UK dealer in Fareham with one in stock also

Grab them while you can!!! LOL

Looks like 4-6 weeks from MB Germany

A463 353 00 59 is the Seal / Thrower that Jason refers to that breaks up with the heat...£17.56 + vat and MB Germany have just 13 in stock
