New W460 owner from Romania
Hi everybody !
I've just purchased a W460 230 GE 4speed manual cabrio 
It's my first mercedes and I hope we'll get along well
I'll use it for offroading mainly so it will have to be "mildly" modified.
First of all I want an autogearbox and a more powerfull engine. over 200 bhp than a rollcage, heavy duty bumpers, a winch or two... we'll see
what engine do you think is easier to fit, besides the om606 (I'd like a petrol engine) ?
what about the gearbox ?

I have fitted an om 606 td in mine and i like it.
There are lots of engines that you can fit with relative ease and some tidy brackets for the new engine parts
What engines are readily available over there. Merc 606 td are plentiful and seem suited to my g wagon 5 speed manual
