Need Combo Switch that Operates High/Low Beams, Turn Signals, etc. for 461 PUR
Hi, I just acquired a G280. It has a bit of a muddy past since it says it was manufactured in 2007, but was licensed in 2009. It was a concept car, but has PUR decals. It has a walk on hood, 24 and 12 volt system, manual roll up windows, mounts for the military radios and is a bit rougher and it's faster and higher than the 463 I have. It's fun to drive! It has about 50,000 kilometers on it.
I've looked through the online parts catalog:
https://www.ilcats.ru/mercedes/?language=en&debugRandomParam=487071
But can't seem to find the switch part number. Any idea where to look in the online catalog?
I'm not sure if there is any danger in posting the VIN or the data plate here, but I can do that as well.
Also, I would like to get a manual for it. I'm a member and I heard that those are downloadable.
Best,
Steve
There are manuals and service books etc and the 461 seems to be well covered. But you need to be full member (not just a registered one) to access the members area.
I would think that 'stalk' is expensive from MB. Isn't it the same as on a 460 ? Get a used one - there should be some around. @gav helme ?
Probably bespoke to 461 on that era
PM vin and I shall look

yes, probably a 461 vesion (G-Professional), which also had a dual 12V/24V system. I always really liked those and thought that thy remained truer to the original G concept than the 463. A kind of updated 460.
The other thing I liked about the 461 was that it came with the option of the rear 'barn doors'.
I have a W460 RHD and regarding a replacement combination switch, made this posting at

The link seems to have changed to
ALi Express seems to have one for US$30.

The brand is Monark, reference 005 545 52 24. I believe it was advertised for a Spinter van, but it fits my W460 just fine. It was a bit stiff at first, but seems to now be working OK.
