nice colour, shame about the upgrades.
If you go to the bother of fitting a replica G63 bumper at least put it on straight !
I have never heard of that auction site before. Their terms state that if you are the winning bidder they automaticaly charge a fee of 6% of the sales price to your credit card which is non refundable, even if you don't complete the purchase. They don't actually have possesion of the vehicles so you are relying on the seller to hold up their end of the sale and if ebay is anything to go by that can often end in tears.
not if engine and gearbox need replacing (121k miles).
Blimey! Should they though?
OK - mine's more old school (1991) but still going strong @ 146k miles.
Are G55s known for short lived engines and gearboxes?
Similar to my ge300 at 150,000 only significant work its ever needed was a cylinder head gasket, which I believe once done isn't a reoccuring problem. The Chrysler era cars were cursed with lots of problems, electrical, rust, paint, unnecessary complexities
Looks like a good price i'd say (not knowing/seeing). Better for the seller if it was a private sale, obviously, but the point of an auction is it gets sold and no more tyre kicking and let downs.
Maybe the new owner will turn up. Or maybe the same car at a different price!
On eBay at £40k
Weird that it's RHD with a LHD chassis number and 4 years before they stared RHD production again, just saying ;0)
