Correct tyre size
My G300 has 275/70 R16 tyres. One of them has an illegal repair and I would like to return the tyres to stock size. However the rims are 7.5J 16. Looking on equivalency tables, I see that these rims can fit the 225/75 R16 tyres that were originally on 6 J rims. Is there any reason for not proceeding? I believe the rims may be from a G500 and checking on the web, the offset is the same as the slimmer rims. Thanks
