I'm looking for a replacement gas filler cap for 1985 280ge--- MB part number A.460.470.06.30

Not sure but some Landie models will fit.

M/B is around €45.00. What is wrong with yours? 

You can have a new barrel and lock fitted if you have problems with the key - could be a cheaper option.

I assume you mean fuel filler cap and gas as in petrol?

Not gas as in LPG?

The part number given shows a cap for the long range tank and this is a " FILLER CAP, Less breathing; with 2 keys, lock undefined, Huf". 

Being non vented cap, the question becomes what filler cap he wants and I don't think he is refering to an LPG filler cap.

We do not more info. from Mike.

I'm looking for the petrol filling cap. Somehow my original one popped off while driving and now it's nowhere to be found. The Mb replacement caps are pricey in Canada. Do you know of any aftermarket good quality replacement petrol gas caps or dose anyone have a good used spare that they would like to sell?

Question is; how expensive is expensive in Canada.

I do no think you can get one cheaper unless you try your local slavage yards to see if one from there fits.
