Hi all.

This has been asked a lot of times I have gone through the forums and it's been mentioned but not really advising what side exiting silencer to use so you can do away with the old one that goes over the fuel tank. Thanks in advance guys

Not sure where you are... Highland? Aidan at Lochaber Stainless, Fort William handmade a side exit exhaust system for us - and we are delighted. Aidan is a lovely, honest fellow who takes real pride in his craft. All the best with it, Nick.

Hi prwales. Yes stainless is defo the way to go for me now. Can I just phone and order from longlife or would they need my G to custom fit? Cheers

Re: 230ge Exhaust

Show them whats left of your exhaust and the bits you want rid off, they'll probably put a double exhaust with side exit on the right hand side behind the driver, its what was done with my 280ge

Re: 230ge Exhaust

I think they need the car, or the old exhaust, to make it up. Better if they fit it as well, rather than have someone else fit their work?  ('they' is whoever you go to to make the SS exhaust).

I need to do the same on 230GE.  I think I will go SS and drop the rear silencer (and the pipe that goes over the fuel tank).  A single mid-car silencer and side exit sounds good.  Drivers side means any fumes will be into traffic, not into the pavement.
