w463 grills fitted to w460
With great thanks to Roly who took many pics for me and measurements, i finally fit the grills to my G. i got my w460 back from the paint shop in planning for the 5litre m117 transplant. i took the leap of faith and had them cut my front qtr panel to fit the grills which will feed bilateral air intakes. i also had a few minor rust spots removed and the rear door wiring holes filled in (in preparation for the w463 'hidden' loom). i havent yet fit the internal parts for the air intakes, as i will wait until the engine is fitted before i cut the holes in the engine bay. the first pic is of the 'pre-op' G, the latter with the grills. sorry about the big pics, cant seem to get one in between small and large?
